About the Role
We’re looking for an ambitious NPD Associate to join our brilliant London team to provide support to our NPD team. This is a brilliant opportunity for someone would like to pursue a career in product development with the support of a friendly and fast paced team.
You will be working across 2 successful beauty brands both looking to expand and strengthen their engagement with key bricks & mortar and online retail partners across the UK and Europe. While at different stages in their journey to establishing partnerships these partnerships, both have major opportunities to grow and support the strategic ambitions of the wider business.
What you’ll be doing:
● Assisting the NPD team in the development of new products including sourcing, margin calculation and compliance ● Creating and maintaining sample library ● Co-ordinate all aspects of samples submissions ● Assisting the Sales team with new product submission ● Conducting research on upcoming trends and competitor analysis ● Managing portfolio artwork updates with the Design team ● Maintaining product specifications database ● Sourcing new suppliers ● Organising translations for product copy ● Maintaining licence schedule and managing renewal for Soil Association, Vegan and Vegetarian societies ● Looking at product reviews across all channels to plan any improvements. What we are looking for: The successful candidate will have a can-do attitude and be passionate about products. You will work closely with marketing and design but a need to develop a good relationship with all departments in the business is key.
